
Initially, Sanjay Dutt was supposed to take up the role, but news came later that Arjun Rampal had been finalised for it. However, even Arjun recently backed out of the movie citing date issues.
The remake is now back to Sonu — the original choice for the role. Even though he’s yet to sign on the dotted line, the actor has given his confirmation to the makers. Now, with the cast finally on board, we hear that a Telugu version is also being considered for the film, which may be shot with the same cast. When we contacted Sonu, he confirmed that he’s on board, but didn’t give additional details.
