Controversies and Ram Gopal Varma’s films always goes hand in hand. If, there is no controversy surrounded, then people also don’t believe that it was a Varma’s film. Although, he raised expectations during his initial days of film career by making films like ‘Shiva’, Kshana Kshanam’, ‘Antam’ etc, he shifted to Mumbai believing that his films have raised his bar to Bollywood level. After enjoying a successful film career there, he again returns to Tollywood after a decade. He starts making Telugu films in his direction, but only to be surrounded with controversies. His films like ‘Rakta Charitra’ and ‘Bezawada Rowdeelu’ released in the recent past were surrounded by controversies.
Now, his latest film ‘26/11 India pai dhaadi’ based upon the terrorist attacks in Mumbai, is all set to release in March 1st week in the state. As usually, a new controversy begins with a lawyer named Ram Prasad writing letter to Censor Board objecting the film release, stating it may create communal riots in Hyderabad city. But, RGV said that his film has mainly focused on the experiences and emotional feelings of the victims and their families than highlighting the attacks incident.
