Mirchi starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Richa Gangopadhyay in leads, has received an earth-shattering opening at the international Box Office.
Mirchi has received an overwhelming response in America, where it got released in record number of screens – 82. The Telugu film has collected Rs 2.54 crores ($4,71,941) at the USA Box Office in its first weekend. It has almost beaten the lifetime collection record of Ram Charan Teja starrer Naayak, which has raked in Rs 2.66 crores ($4,94,140) in this country. Whereas Hindi movies Special 26 and ABCD have collected Rs 2.49 crores ($4,62,262 from 85 screens) and Rs 51.29 lakhs ($95,236 from 25 screens, respectively. Meanwhile, Mirchi has sent down the business of old releases at USA Box Office.
