The film is produced by Bandla Ganesh under his Parameshwara Art Productions banner. It stars Jr. NTR and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles and is their second film together after Brindavanam. The soundtrack was composed by S. Thaman, who will be working with Srinu Vaitla for the second time in his career.[9] The film will have it's cinematography handled by I Andrew, Jayanan Vincent, R D Rajasekhar and K V Guhan.[10] The film was formally launched on March 18, 2012 in Hyderabad and the shooting began on July 1, 2012 in Italy. The film is scheduled to be released on April 5, 2013
